Is it just me or has kandi gotten less popular

I've noticed a huge drop in popularity since I got into making kandi in early 2021, just wondering if anyone else here has noticed it too... 5148b4b6a7545_mariocar.gif

I think theres "peak" popularity, moreso probably people who had never heard about it coming to see what kandi was all about and making it, cultures related to kandi are old and will still continue to live on >:3 PLUR!!! <33333

i gotta disagree! over the summer ive seen so much more kandi around than usual. and as an art teacher, my students are all getting into kandi! i was facepainting at a festival the other week and i saw lots of scene and alt kids :3

kandi in general is kind of an obscure thing. I've only been into it for 3+ years but I've not met a lot of people irl who also like it. I have noticed a lot of kids recently making "friendship bracelets" which is sort of similar to kandi, which makes me happy to see! It was something I bonded with a kid I babysat over.
