My mom just brought a cat home that looks just like my other cat (Leo)

She told me multiple times that she wasn’t ready for another cat (honestly I’m not either) but then she brought home a grey kitten that looks like my Leo did. I feel bad because he’s a kitten and did nothing wrong but I really don’t wanna get attached to him considering how young Leo was when he passed

i'd try to not let yourself get to attached and if everything goes well just let yourself slowly get attached, i know it can be hard getting another cat right after one had died, but just let yourself get a little attached

Let yourself love the little guy. I know it hurts so much right now, but it’ll get easier with time. Maybe this little guy can help. my previous cat passed young, too, and I also got another kitten right away. He could never replace my little buddy, but he made life feel good again. pinkheart
