How do you deal with your anxiety?

Just curious how others manage and deal with their anxiety in certain situations :3

Music or other audio. Earplugs. Small plush. Breathing exercises. Learn self massage (it's easy). Rescue meds. Sometimes I have to hide. I have been known to call a crisis line because five minutes with a friendly voice does wonders. I suck at meditation but some people love it.

Do NOT self-medicate. It's tempting, but it will make stuff worse in the long run, and will really mess up any meds you're on. (So can grapefruit for some reason, so if you're on meds and love grapefruit, ask your pharmacist if it's okay. I can't have grapefruit Hi Chew and it makes me quite angry.)

Message my wonderful girlfriend, scream, cut and/or dye my hair, rearrange my room, and do things that keep my hands busy (kandi, sewing, etc..)

i usually figdet with the drawstrings of my hoodie. i also put my hood up

i just cuddle my Squishmallow<33 or put in my esrbuds & listen to music, i also try to distract myself too, & i try to watch my breathing bcuz if i dont it gets to the point wher ei hyperventilate, thankfully that last bit only happens at my house but i stillxhave to watch & control ot

when i'm going to school i bring a plushie with me to hold onto thru out the day which helps me stay calmed down when the class is being loud or im just stressed out bcuz of the work. but thats rlly it for me- i haven't figured any other way like for in public situations-

music!!! especially during attacks. otherwise, pets rly help! my dogs r the reason i can manage my anxiety the way i do
