the only annoying part (for me) is when people ask for some or try to tell me that i should sell it, but besides that its usually a positive experience, though some older people can try to touch your arms without asking

Me and my friend of mine like to wear kandi (both smaller and bigger pieces) and so far I havent received any negative comments in public! A lot of people ask if we make this stuff ourselves, and how long it takes to make. So far I had one person recognize that its kandi. As for the negatives, usually I just get some grumpy (?) /confused stares from older people (also my mom low key hates it XD). Granted, I tend to hang out in more liberal and creative spaces, so reactions might vary depending on where you live

I never really wear bigger kandi out because I don’t like the feeling of a bunch of beads on my skin, but I’ve wore my star cuff out a few times and no one seemed to care other then my brother

i wear kandi to every concert i go to and at a few shows ive had ppl compliment my bracelets big grin i also wear kandi everywhere i go, i once had a real estate agent compliment my bracelets and tell me i look like an artist :3 other than that ive never had anyone comment on them, negative or otherwise. i do get some confused looks from really old ppl sometimes lol, but theyre like, 70+ so their opinions dont matter laugh

if i were u i wouldnt worry too much about it, as long as its nothing obscene or inappropriate like kandi with curse words or suggestive phrases

i wore kandi on a vacation with my family and got complimented by a bunch of cool people so it just depends on who your around if you get good or bad comments on kandi

I've had loads of strife for wearing a mask but never for kandi. People love if you make them a star or a keychain.

I've gotten compliments from a lot of ppl on my kandi which makes me rlly happy happy

My only negative experience is when someone tried to trip me on the first day I wore my kandi bag rainbowsmile (I think it was bc of the bag but idk for sure)

P.S. Don't let a bunch of lame jerks make fun of u and bring u down just bc they have nothing better to do than to bully someone who's just being themselves beating heart/p

I've really never had someone be mean to me or even just get dirty looks. I feel like the only context where you would really get judged it if oyu were wearing a harness or like a bikini top

so far i've only got positive comments and stuff like "WOAH HOW DID YOU MAKE THAT BRACELET THAT BIG" or "WOAH ARENT YOU CUTTING OFF UR CIRCULATION????" they're all really annoying to me especially if i dont even know them but at least i didnt get negative stuff
