kandi scene in salem, ma?

if you're on the kandi subreddit, then you've already seen this since i posted it there too but no one really had any answers. i'm just gonna copy and paste what i posted there.

i know this is maybe a weird question, but does anyone here know what the kandi/perler/bracelet trading situation is like in salem, mass? specifically near essex street?

my family always goes there in the summer since we're all super into history and also very spiritual/witchy. we typically stick near essex street (basically THE street with all the witchcraft shops n stuff). i remember the last two years i would always see alt kids and people with kandi here and there, but i never had any with me since i wasn't super into the community at those times.

but i would really love to make some bracelets and perlers to either trade or just give away. i don't think it's the kinda thing to die down in a place like that, but has anybody by chance been there recently? is it worth spending some time to make some bracelets/perlers?

again, i know this is a really strange thing to ask, but i'm just curious!

thanks in advance to any replies! also, any ideas for bracelets/perlers? of course i'll make a few witchy/pagan/satanic ones, but specific words or designs would be nice to add to my list!
