Did you keep the first kandi you ever received?

I realized the other day that I do have the first kandi I ever received. My ex gave it to me when we first started dating and I had no idea at the time what it represented. I refuse to let go of it. Do you still have the first kandi you received? Why or why not?

I definitely still have my first piece of kandi . I got it at an anime convention from one of my friends it was what inspired me to actually start making kandi. In fact I have every single that I've ever traded in all my years of making kandi , I feel it's kind of odd to trade kandi you haven't made because I make my singles in ways that represent myself so even though I might have only talked to someone for a couple of minutes a bracelet that I have given them represents me and makes a connection with that person. The only pieces of kandi that I've ever considered getting rid of are pieces that are from past relationships that have ended I don't ever really intend to wear those but I feel trading them is kind of giving away some negative vibes that I don't really want to spread around either.. They kinda just sit at the bottom of my collection. XD

yes i do. i met a girl down in orlando at the Harry Potter theme park wearing singles on both of her arms. i said that i would trade with her if i had worn any of my kandi & she gave me a rainbow single with her IG name on it. its a bit too big since she used .5mm string but its been now 2 months since we met & i still have it.

Yeah, I kept it. To be honest it's pretty ugly and it doesn't have much meaning because it was given to me in a hurry, but I kept it just because it's my first... it has some sentimental value kao happy

I think I might have accidentally given away the first kandi I ever received. crying But I know I have the second one I ever received, because my first two pieces were from two friends at the Soap Bubble Rave at Anime Central.

I sure do!
The first Kandi I ever received was at the GUV, down town Toronto. My first rave too.
A good friend of mine introduced me to Kandi and gave me my first single that said, "Tattoos" on it. ♥
Will never let it go.

I don't think I'll ever get rid of the ones I'm given, even if the friendships end. I definitely agree, the kandi hold memories, and good or bad they tell a story

I still have my first piece of kandi I was ever gifted. In fact, I'm pretty sure I have kept every kandi I've ever received. Every piece is special to me because they all have different meanings and stories behind them. And I like to hold onto those memories.
