So um im gonna give tips on how to be more masculine/feminine and also reply to any questions in the comments to the best of my ability (im a trans guy)

How to appear more masculine:

Binding is great, but if you cant safely get/afford a binder there are many organizations who can help. Something I do personally is use 2 training bras (sports bras can be replacements im just smaller chested), with the one on top backwards, i then use the camisole method of binding ( the tighter it is the better, just make sure you can breathe.) which is i put a camisole tank top ontop of that and roll it up one time, then i put the leggings method on top of that to smooth everything out. (google leggings method if you dont know.

For the love of god, please dont go to a salon. They WILL fuck it up and make you look super feminine. Just do it yourself (trust me) or if you cant then atleast go to a barber shop.

Wearing a lot of black typically seems to hide everything pretty okay.

Nail polish is fine, just make sure its black in color.

Shoes can be anything as long as they arent like twinkle toes or anything pink or sparkly (converse and vans typically will work. mens shoes make you appear more masc but womens work too.)

If you dont shave your body hair it will make you appear more masc because sometimes men dont shave.

makeup can help you pass (i.e darkening of brows, a little foundation on lips, contour)

How to appear more feminine:

grow your hair a little longer ( or if your parents wont let you, get clip-on extensions)

makeup can help in passing (i.e lip gloss, blush, eyeshadow, lipstick)

nail polish looks great (although if you chose black it can be percieved as androgynous.

shave your body hair

colorful outfits seem to work, anything is great but colorful stuff just appears more feminine

shoes can really be anything ( although heels, and womens shoes will make it easier to pass)

hair accesories are adorable!!

salons are great! you can do it yourself too!

anyways this is just my advice, if you have any questions or would like to add on please do so! remember you dont have to do these things to pass or be percieved as your gender. have a nice day and ily /p5148ae306977f_hkheart.gif

Another thing to note as well, it’s ultimately your choice whether you want to try and pass or not. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a femme trans guy or masc trans girl happy

(The list is still helpful tho)

It depends on the hair salon, a lot of LGBTQ+ friendly hair salons will do good at making u look how u want : >

or just hack it off and have them "fix" it
