how to keep ipad from dying

i fell asleep while writing and forgot to charge my ipad it’s at 17 percent how do i keep it from dying oh no

Charge it and don't play on it while it's charging, because that ruins ALL electronic devices (that includes phones, switches, anything you can take off a charger and use for a long period of time). Also keep the brightness down and turn on power saving mode

my tablet charger is broken and it wasn’t charging completely but I got a new charge

If your at school, see if any teacher has a charger during ur classes. Until then try limiting use and put on power saving mode
