Crazy Halloween storys? If you dont have any, Fav horror movie?

Once on halloween one night when i was 11, I was with a group of friends walking around near (but not in) The woods, but there was reports of cougars at my old place where this is at, So when we where done trick-or-treating, We wanted to go into the woods, then we heard twigs snapping and growing, so we aussmed it was a cougar, So my friends get scared when I was confused, Then 2 older teenagers come out covered in water and mud. They said They where throw water ballons at because someone was guarding there spot of candy. Then My dumb self went in, got soaked then walked out with 3 bags of candy:

Lesson from this: Washington is crazy as heck :,D

There was this one guy, he kept like getting way too close and invading my personal space, he also asked to take pictures of me and my siblings which didn't really make sense since we just had like dollar store outfits, and he kept trying to get us to come into his house even though there were no decorations inside and his bowl of candy was outside

A few years ago me and my friend went trick or treating together. We decided not to talk about or show eachother our costumes to keep them a surprise. It turns out that we had the same costume, which was a really pretty black and red dress. But sadly, it was raining that night, so we ended up sharing a giant black umbrella because i didn't bring mine. Since it was raining so much, we were some of the only kids outside. The funny thing is that looking back, me and my friend realized how creepy it must have been. Two identical-looking girls (other than the dress, we had the same hair color and length, skin color, and similar heights) sharing a black umbrella walking up to your house on a dark, rainy night. Its even better that most people probably weren't expecting to see any kids in the storm. So uhhh, yeah. We might've scared quite a few people as if they were in a horror movie

This one is just kinda funny when I was like 5 I went trick or treating and then went up to the house and then BAM a fake zombie decoration from the ground. I was so scared that I haven't gone to that house ever since. I have one spooky one though I was out late trick or treating until 12, but I got lost and couldn't find my way back ofc I was trick or treating with a group, but we got so lost we didn't get back until like 1 to get back to my friend's house. Word of advice don't leave your phone at home, because when I went noboy had a phone on them nor did an adult come with us.

I haven't watched many horror movies (cause my parents think i'm baby) but i recently watched NOPE by Jordan Peele and I LOVED IT SO MUCH. MASTERPIECE.

my favorite halloween/horror movies are carrie and american psycho!! planning on watching silence of the lambs soon so if anyones seen that please tell me what you thought about it
