Cheap perler supplies?

Hi! I'm looking for help on how I can start making perlers on a veryyy low budget. I'd appreciate recommendations on store to shop at for stuff and ways to save more money while trying to buy stuff to start, thanks!!

dollarama has buckets of beads with pegboards for like 4 dollars

ikea sells a pegboard set for $2.99 and it comes with a big square, small square, a heart and i think a circle too. they also sell their own "perler" beads for pretty cheap but i def reccomend getting one of the big bulk bins of perler brand beads, its a bit expensive at first but you get way more color variety and other than black and white you prob wont have to buy beads for a while.

@cosmiic: hi hi hi ive bought these ! they do have the pegboards ! (my local walmart has an offbrand too! and they work but i'd suggest not to mix the offbrand beads and the perler beads)

if you have a walmart near you i recommend going there !! they have a big tub or perlers in the walmart brand that isnt that expensive and im pretty sure the tub comes with the board to put the beads on but im not sure, its a good start tho

at the end of a holiday (halloween, thanksgiving, christmas, stuff like that) check the michaels clearance for their creatology melt bead kits. you don't have to follow their pattern, and you can just save the beads for your own projects!
