Kandi as wedding favors?

I'm in the process of planning my wedding, which will hopefully be happening next Halloween. We're trying to do it with a small budget, but still make it fun. I hate "normal" wedding favors, and they end up being absurdly expensive anyway, so I've been thinking about making a bunch of peyote ghosts and bats with keyrings attached to hand out. My fiancee likes the idea, as well as our closest friends. I'm not sure if the rest of our friends/family would like it, or find it to be too childish. Any thoughts on this? Most of our friends are mid 20s-30s if that helps.

Thanks for the feedback everyone ^.^ I think we're going with ghosts and bats, along with handing out a ton of Halloween candy (can't have Halloween without candy after all)

I think it's an excellent idea! It's a good representation of you, it matches your theme, and it's unique! I'm planning my wedding for early October 2014, and the best advice I can give you is two things: 1) at the end of the day, you will be married to your other half, and as long as that happens, everything will be okay. 2) It is YOUR wedding. I know you want to be as accommodating as possible so your guests enjoy themselves, but today is about YOU and your honey! Good luck and good vibes your way! happy

I think you should do a combination. Do your idea, and then a traditional favor as well. To make your guests happy as well as yourself :3

I think this is an excellent idea, not only does it fit the theme of the wedding but it brings a personal touch of the couple to each guest attending! Might I recommend Halloween themed single bracelets though as well as key chains? They have excellent Halloween themed pony beads on the net!

That's a cute idea honey. Fits well with the theme and date. The most important thing to remember about any detail of the wedding is that you and your partner are happy. That's the biggest thing. If you're happy with it then go for it! It'll be a memory you'll never forget!
