where do I start making Kandi from a peyote stitch design

I'm tripping and forgot where to start on details from this Web site I went straight across from the bottom row and it came out wrong I'm so confused

I find it easiest to start from the widest part which for stuff like circles is the middle or wherever on an odd shaped one...for stuff like panels it depends on the pattern...I usually start at the top or bottom...or if I decide to challenge myself...and what I wat to make isn't too big...I start from the middle. I hope this helps

Most people start in the middle. And they either work from top to bottom or bottom to top. Usually you start in a central place that's easy to remember (The skeleton should start with 2 beads if its an odd peyote).If it's like a bag panel or poster you could start from the bottom and work your way up.
