you absolutely can !! just be sure to make it from a non-stretch cord, so its as close to a solid case as possible, about an 3/4inch margins on all sides so theres space to fit the uke, you can outline its size on parchment and use it as a guideline for how big the kandi should be. then line it with a fabric (you could sew the fabric to the edges of each panel) before joining the panels to each other. think of it like a box, with a flat bottom, one long strip of wall lining the edges of the flat bottom, and a hinged flat top to cover it. you could close it with zipper connected to the fabric if you have experience sewing zippers, or you can do loop latches on the top and buttons on the bottom so theyll be pulled close with at least 4 buttons lining the edge to really secure it in place :]

@Z0mbie_gh0st: i have a kinda crappy uke case, its really thin and doesnt protect it at all. Knocks against things all the time, so i dont know how much more damage this poor thing can take lolol.

I dont think it is possible without damaging or changing the sound of uke. But if u really want to add beads to your instrument you can make a kandi strap, but im pretty sure it wont be comortable blush

probably if u do line the inside with soft fabric bc the beads can damage the uke (I've been playing uke for over 6 years lol) also the case should probably only be used for decorative purposes not functional
