so my fic idea is that my character (Princess Peach, autistic) is running around during a meltdown and sprains her ankle. Problem is, she doesn’t really get signals from her body until it’s either too late or someone points it out. So my character has no idea until other character (Rosalina) notices she’s limping and checks her ankles. Is this realistic? Yes this is a Mario fic, Yes they’re both autistic. Please only respond if you also have issues with your body’s signals not being received, I want to listen to people who have more trouble with this than I do. Ty! 514c877238924_rainbowsmile.gif

yeah, my autistic brother has sensory issues so sometimes if he gets cut or something smacks into him his response to it comes a little late. he also usually picks up snow and stays out in the cold much longer than the rest of my neurotypical family

yeah I would do that but its only really apparent if it's a major limp because most limps are not that noticeable
