okie i'm saying this in a nice way and actually read this:

1. scenecore isn't exactly a good word to describe the style. so aesthetics and style are two VERY different things. scenecore is more so asocciated with being a poser and acting as if it's an aesthetic, which scene isn't. now i know you may hate the word poser, so do i, but people are going to assume you are one if you keep advertising yourself as scenecore. same with emocore.

2. you do not seem very educated on the goth subcultures such as scene and emo. both of these subcultures revolve around music. while you may be saying you listen to the music you are not. just because you heard money machine once does NOT mean you listen to scene music. now i'm obsessed with fashion history but i'm not going to dump everything i know on these subcultures, message me privately for that. but what i do know is you need to research these styles. moderngurlz has a lovely video on scene, and if you go to live journal or my space you should find different blogs and articles.

3. don't casually say you commit arson. what if it's considered a threat and you wind up in a bigger situation than you thought? it's not aesthetic
