SO i want 2 start dressing up as sorta emo, scene, really specific but those over h8ed sparkle dog fursonas. hopefully you get my drift

but.

i dont know any direct stores with that type of clothing, like the generic hot topic and spencers have t-shirts that i'll wear but ive been looking at pintrest and general images online and, alot of the stuff i wear doesnt fit the style im goin for, the stuff i have might be it, but stilll!!!!

So i need help with stores 2 look at, prefurrably online or commonly found around the world. Thank you if you have any!!! (also the things that i need are shirts, pants, skirts if there are any in that fashion, and accessories.)

Claire´s is where I get some of my stuff, but there are other places! FashioNation is this AWESOME store in Denver! They have pretty much every alternative fashion there is. They are a wee bit pricey, though. I also personally like Goodwill, they are cheap and (Mostly) good quality!

first you should not be getting your understanding of the emo subculture from Pinterest but if you want emo cloths the best places to look are goodwill and ebay or any other second hand/thrift store. Band shirts are like the center of emo fashion and those can be found pretty much anywhere online and even at like Walmart and Target. A lot of people make their own jewelry but you can find some cool stuff (not specifically emo) at places like killstar, dolls kill, attitude cloths, or any related online store and incase you didn't know spirit Halloween has an online store. You can also find some pretty groovy stuff at most stores if you look hard enough.

amazon, any thrift store, claires (i got my hair extensions + other accessories from there) you could also go to hot topic, but ik some people are against that (they don't sell a lot of emo / scene clothes anyways)

here are my general tips for new alt people !!

- LOOK IN EVERY SECTION OF EVERY STORE. you can find some great stuff in the weirdest places lol, my favourite dress is from a tj-maxx

- dollar stores are your friend, especially for accessories !! lots of funky rainbow stuff

- Aliexpress has lots of stuff and is cheap, but beware of disingenuous sellers. check reviews on things you want so you don't get scammed lol

- make shit. you see something you like, can't buy it, but think you can make it? go ahead!!! DIY is part of the alternative spirit

this won't happen over night, it's taken me at least a year to get to where i am with my wardrobe and you will always be collecting and morphing as your style does

@dezdepez: I think what they meant was like- How some people dress sparkle dogs (Since it's common to dress sparkle dogs in scene/emo clothing) not that sparkle dogs themselves are emo/scene- But I could be wrong, either way I agree, sparkle dogs are not inherently emo or scene
