The Butterfly Project <3

Have you ever heard of the Butterfly Project? (If not the picture explains what it is) I'm trying for the third time. But today I snapped and killed my butterflies...All 10 of them. I just want to know if anyone else is/has done this and if it helped you or you gave up. I don't want to give up but it's so hard. And it hurts knowing how many you've killed. <3

Personally, I have never had a problem with harming myself physically (mentally? Oh hell yeah), but I have seen my old best friend deteriorate right before my eyes because they thought they were a mistake in this world. No one is. I told her about this project, and she failed the first time, of course. Nothing is perfected the first time. But after a while, her butterflies didn't need to stay on her arm to remind her that she was strong and beautiful. They're no longer on her arm, but they're free in the world somewhere and I know yours will be, too. Just keep trying and message me if you need someone to talk to. <3

I've tried it before, but I don't think any of my butterflies ever made it. Still doing it, though. Don't worry, things WILL get better, even if it seems to take a long time. If it gets bad and you ever need any help or someone to talk too just message me, m'kay? Heart

I have done this many many times and failed and killed my butterflies repeatedly, and although I'm still not healthy and I still cut I want you to know I am ALWAYS here for you and or anyone who needs a friend or just needs to talk...about ANYTHING!happy I have also done the semi colon project were you draw a semi colon on your wrist. An author uses a period to end the sentence, and a semi colon to continue it, you are the author and you chose to continue the sentence which is your life. instead of ending it you kept going. So if the butterflies don't help all that much try the semi colon project. I'm here for you and I totally know what you are going through, I love you all! Beating Heart PLUR!!!!! "Love_Ya": I myself haven't tried the butterfly project. I choose to write down the lyrics of whatever the most meaningful song I know on my wrists, giving the situation. It doesn't work for everyone unless you really love music. Even if you don't I'd recommend Sleeping with Sirens, Black Veil Brides, Three Days Grace, and Pierce the Veil. They really help me winking That's actually an awesome idea and I HAVE tried that before. I still do every once in a while. Especially Pierce The Veil.
