@visitor361: The rotating bit in the center is 2 x bases, or 5 layers of connector beads! The connector beads rather than the x’s are how I usually measure it, the tall base piece is 11 layers of connector beads. So probably 4 x bases? But I’m not 100% sure, maybe 5.. There is a picture of just the base piece by itself on my page too where you can see more clearly how it is built!
