Squirtle Can/Bottle Holder Mug
Description |
Though I give exact bead counts, and you could easily see all angles of the mug, please don't recreate it, at least not an exact copy. I started out with Aoiyuurei's Love Squirtle Kandi Cuff design, so I have to give her credit. Thanks for creating such a lovely Squirtle face pattern for me to base mine off of. For my design, I removed the hearts, added bubbles, and changed up the mouth and left eye. If you like my idea and would like to do something similar, let me know. I'd love to see the completed product, and know that I was your inspiration This is my first kandi creation ever. It is a can/bottle holder mug I created, which started out as a kandi cuff, but I had a lot of extra string, that I didn't want to snip off, a bunch of extra baby blue beads and an extra light blue uv bead, so I turned it into a cup, then I decided to use the rest of my beads and a bit of extra string to make a handle. It took me a whole day to make; I don't know the exact hour count, but it took several hours, mainly because on my first attempt, I tied off each section and didn't like how the knots looked, so I started over with one long piece of string.
If anyone's interested in the amount of beads it took to make: The cuff took 123 baby blue beads, 59 black beads, 7 dark red beads, 5 white beads, 36 light blue pearl solar beads, 141 light blue uv beads, 1 pink uv bead, and 12 glow beads. The base took 59 baby blue beads. The handle took 33 baby blue beads and one light blue uv bead. Total beads used: 476 |
