A friend made it they used wire, and put yellow and black fabric around it and looks just like it.

well i have yet to wear it to a rave! >.< im making it for one And a anime convention cosplay. but i was jumping around yesterday in it cause i was happy and it didnt fall i have soffee shorts on under neath

Also, I think it's cause you used mini beads for the top (I saw the first picture you posted of the top) but it like blends together so good you can't tell it's beads; from far away it almost looks like actual fabric. It's really cool.
