Hot Topic Selling Kandi?

Description Kandi is to be traded, not sold. Kandi creation credit: Justin Johnson _______________________________________ I found this on facebook and I just recently found out that Hot Topic is selling kandi? I haven't seen them yet but I went on the website and searched "bead bracelet" and saw a three-pack? I do agree, Kandi is supposed to be traded, not sold, but because of this picture people were saying "that's not very plur of you guys" or some crap like that. So what's your opinion on it?

Heres HT's response to the whole thing. http://www.facebook.com/jakef2#!/photo.php?fbid=10151176810176979&set=a.186691296978.151823.118951846978&type=1&theater I was more upset with the messaging than the braclets themselves.

Ht isn't selling kandi, in no way did they lable their product kandi, so it's not kandi. Kandi isn't a catch all term for beaded braclets. A band wears multipul pony bead braclets so HT is trying to copy that fashion trend. If anything be mad at this band for tarnishing the meaning of plur and starting this trend of wearing pony bead braclets.

I work for Hot Topic and I don't even like the idea of us selling kandi. But it's apparently a trend that we are now in which is ridiculous. I just hope that it ends soon. Please don't scold me.
