Have 2 restart my bag

Description	Rookie mistake, used stretch cord instead of non-stretch for my bag :P (I'm new to this, I know it's kind of a no brainer but I've never made anything like this before) I'm remaking it with fishing line instead of elastic cord, any tips on how to tie knots would be appreciated ^_^ I'm have a lot of trouble with that, they keep not tightening all the way!

pre-stretching the parts of the string you want to tie off usually helps, along with using surgeon's knots and strengthening with square knots. hope this helps, good luck!
