@clyde_infestation: Sometimes a screw eye or hole is better, but I assembled the toys with cement first, so it's way easier to tie it, especially if you do it before you lace the ends of the cuff together. Plus the recipient can cut them off and set them on a shelf if they prefer. The clear cord is much less visible IRL than it is in a digital photo, but them's the breaks. I don't have a lot of qualms about drilling a dollar toy, but I've made kandi with more collectible stuff like a vintage TimMee cowboy, and then it's better not to damage it.

Also Violet is MUCH thinner than Pepperdance, and a screw eye will probably go right through her.
