If you don't want people to use your idea, you should specifically say so when you share it. If you did, this reaction may be justified. But still, you're getting angry over a breast cancer awareness pattern? She made it for someone who is fighting it, just like your grandma. You should be empathizing with her, not getting angry at her. Both of your lives have been affected by breast cancer. P.S. I think it's really sweet that you made the design for your grandma!
