  • if you're making a multistich cuff (most of the cuffs on this site) you start it as a normal single according to the colors on the pattern. Usually if you click "PDFs" next to the heart button it'll show you a version of the pattern with the numbers but that can be a little spotty, although you can just count from the first bead on the first row and kinda count in a slash pattern, (like ////), and it'll show you what beads should be in your initial single. Then from there you can just thread beads on by how the pattern lines up!

If you're looking for super simple patterns to just get the hang of it, any basic stripes (like pride flags and rainbows) will be perfect for that! Also cuffs that are smaller with minimal detail.
