where am i going wrong with this cuff?

ok my brain is exploding so bad.

I am trying to follow this excellent pattern (https://kandipatterns.com/patterns/characters/among-us-26419) and i think im getting messed up where i pointed the arrows. There is meant to be a space for a fourth row black bead after the 2 reds but there is not. Maybe the scribbled out row is messing with me, i tried to make it 1 shorter so there would be an even amount of beads on row one. (by the way why do people say that multi won't work with odd numbers?)

I really dont know what im doing wrong, I cant wrap my head around it.

@Crumpet: oh! i think thats great, cuz others won't get so confused. have you notified the user who made it? Id love to see it come back with an even number of beads. I totally didnt mean to put a hit on it xD

This pattern is invalid and should not have been accepted. I don't know how it made it through because we have protections in place against invalid cuff patterns. I will have to remove the pattern. Like other people have said, it needs an even number of rows, not odd.

to the right where there is 2 black beads next 2 eachother instead of stacked, u added 1 too many beads. it needs to be unneven or else it wont work

and yes, multis dont work unless you have an even number of columns bcz of that row transition ++ you have to be able to alternate between beads. one thing you could do is copy the pattern into the pattern maker and then have it labeled by rows so you can still use the pattern while editing it slightly

maybe adding another blank row of blacks might also do the trick rather than deleting one?
