how 2 attach pearlers to cuffs?

i want to make a hello kitty rotating cuff but idk how to attach the pearler to it-any tips?

poke holes in the perler for where you want your string to go, also i would suggest curling your perlers if its a bigger cuff like a rotator something similar just so it doesnt look wonky or gets torn off easily.
