Do you have to sort your beads (by color) or does it matter? :)

I bought a big bucket of pony beads and I dont have the patience to sort them lol. I also have been using zip locks because I don't have an organizer, so it's been kind of annoying to keep up with :-\

I have OCD as well, so I HAVE to sort my beads. It's really annoying but I can't stand it if they're not sorted ._.

I just don't have the patience to sort my beads. I have this big dinner platter, and it has my beads all over it. I also have two bags full of beads that are all jumbled together, along with some Ziploc bags full of pony beads, and perlers. I also had this plastic container with the colors separated by shades and style (pearl, solid, transparent), but my brother dropped it, and I just scooped all the beads up and put them in the container. I think I'll take some time over winter break to separate them with my brother. c:

I sort mine just to make it easier on myself. You don't necessarily need too, though.

It all depends on the type of person you are. Me, I like to organize them, but my friends do not. No, it doesn't really matter

You don't have to but I personally find it easier if they are sorted so I know how many of each color I have and if I have enough to make what I want.

It's all based on preference. Personally, I sort because I am OCD. But it also makes it so much easier to look at beads and say "okay, I know I have enough to make this pattern" Where as if they are all mixed together, it is very difficult to tell how much of each color you have.

i'm sort of ocd so I HAVE to. i can only manage (in small amounts) mixed shades of a color, but mixed shapes,sizes, colors drives me INSANE. every time i buy a new bag of jumbled beads, i invite my neighbor over to have her help me sort my beads before I go crazy. a bucket of pearler beads drives me nuts too because of the mixed colors, but they are easier to deal with because i don't use them that much, and thus don't have to look at them
