THIS!!!! we used to be poorer (we could afford food n whatnot, but couldnt afford much more than the necessities) when i was younger, and i was made fun of heavily for thrift shopping . now its a trend and the mfs that made fun of me are doing it. wacko and the stores nearme made prices go up, and the area im in isnt insanely wealthy. its so terrible :-(

as someone who grew up poor (we could afford food, but we never really got much of aything else unless it was for christmas or for our birthdays) we used to have to get most of our clothes from target and the thrift store. i would get bullied RELENTLESSLY for not being able to afford clothing at say walmart or any other fancy brands. shirts used to cost at the very most MAYBE $15 at target, and not going over MAYBE $8 at the thrift store, depending on the shirt.

now, the cheapest shirt at target is $25 and the cheapest at the thrift store is like $15. it's horrendous. thrift stores are for people who can't afford to shop anywhere else and are for recycling clothes. not for rich people to buy and rip up and make the prices fricking sky rocket.
