how do kandi chokers work?

do you gotta keep typing them on your neck?? i know they cant go over heads. is there a way to put on chokers easily? asking because when i get beads i want to immediately make a ton of kandi

for my spikey choker (see pf) i put keychain rings on both ends of the choker and then a lobster clasp on one of the rings so it clips on the other one!! (i can post pics if u want)
