Am I the only person experiencing this?

It’ll randomly say that I have like anywhere from 4 to 57 new comments on something but when I click on it there’s nothing new and it’s strange????

I’ve literally been trying to see if there’s some kind of pattern like it gives an old notification again whenever somebody likes that comment or edits it but it doesn’t connect so it just does it anyways and idk y lo
