(im not gonna be using my typing quirk) ok, so, i love being in this fandom but we get such a bad rep because of all the assholes in the fandom. like, i can name so many godamn things RIGHT NOW on why this fandom is so shit and toxic. im gonna name 5

1) niki is getting sexualized because she posted a picture of her in a tank top.

2) eret got cancelled for saying he didnt know what a nonbinary lesbian is.

3) tommy, tubbo andd all the minors are getting sexualized even though they have expressed that they are not comfortable with it.

4) dream got cancelled for streaming when people were sleeping.

yeah. all that shit was and still is happening. the people in this fandom hate mcyts. im sure of it. its never the kids that are like, 13. ita always the older people in the fandom that try to create drama.

anyway, lmk your thoughts

(EDIT: im no longer in this fandom and i dont like any of the ppl mentioned but i still believe that they dont deserve hate for what is mentioned)

im 100% an outsider (ive seen small things but ive never had first hand experience with the fandom) so it might be a good view to know idk? i find it rlly scary looking in, mostly from what ive heard about the ccs and sub communities inside of it, i get that there is bad apples in every fandom but they are so loud its the only thing i hear about the fandom. -jasper

i dont like the fandom, its awful. i heavily dislike dream stans. i have no problems with the mcyt's themselves, but its the fandom, ive seen some pretty fucked up shit from them too.

Apparently people from the fandom wrote dnf and subscribe to technoblade on a statue hounoring idegionus people. Idk how true this is yet but it's just....idek. it's hard bc the fandom that once was a safe space for me feels more dangerous than ever and idk what to do about it

literally the fandom is terrifying especially right now. im honestly considering turning my mcyt tumblr sideblog into a danganronpa blog temporarily until things calm down at least a little bit. there are so many talented artists and a lot of people in the fandom are pretty cool, but it's quite the disaster currently.
