Do I have to dress up in common Kandi/ rave clothes to wear Kandi?

I’m very very new to this so sorry for sounding dumb- I am Cy3erdolphin and new to learning about Kandi I see it a lot and think it’s really cute! I’m interested on making Kandi but I was wondering if I have to dress in common rave clothes to do Kandi? I’m non-binary is it also fine to wear then? I am trying to wear different clothing of pastels alt like clothes is it fine to wear Kandi then? It’s fine if not I’m just wondering because I don’t want to be disrespectful to anyone!

its perfectly ok to wear kandi no matter what your fashion is! also kandi is not gendered, if anything you can make kandi about your identity if you want to! kandi is for everyone

Wear what you like! Kandi is for everyone!! There's no certain way to dress that allows you to wear kandi, everyone can wear or make it!

I wear a lot of kandi and I'd identify my style as pink punk! My best friend is a huge goth and wears kandi too!

I'm nonbinary as well and know of quite a few nb kandi kids! Kandi culture is hugely accepting of lgbt folks!

As long as you're having fun, I wouldn't worry!

Wear whatever you'd like!! Kandi is for everyone! It's also a very inclusive, welcoming, and friendly community. Personally I wear kandi with everything haha
