Keeping vs Trading Singles?

Hey all, I have a question about your kandi trading habits!

My friend thinks I'm weird because I keep every single piece of kandi I get ever, even though (according to whoever) you can or are supposed to keep trading singles. Anyhow, my question is, do you guys trade away singles you get or do you do like I do and keep absolutely every piece of kandi you get ever?

im not old enough to rave, but from what i understand, you are not supposed to trade away kandi that has been traded to you. its like a sign of friendship, and pretty much is. you dont trade friendship

I've never traded but I would keep it because it holds a memory and and some ppl put alot of thought and love into the kandi they make

I don't trade away Kandi that I get as gifts or that people trade with me. I always keep it and I can almost remember all of the people I've traded with or who have given me kandi as a gift. I have a little bit of them and they have a little bit of me.

I just saw Zedd and all the singles I went with that I made, I came back with none of mine but some of others. I try not to trade ones that I have been traded because they have some sort of significance. It's kinda like they'll remember me while I remember them (:

I never trade kandi that has been traded to me, I was told its really not cool to trade away kandi that was given to you. but it is kandi so I guess you can do what you want with it. I feel each kandi was given to me for a purpose, and I always try to choose a kandi to give to the person that I am trading with that suits them specifically, I would be sad if some one traded away something I gave to them.
I also only trade kandi I made because when I meet someone I want to give them a little something of me, something that is unique, instead of something that was made by someone they've never met and don't know the story behind.
If you do have a piece of kandi that was traded to you, but feel it is super perfect for someone els, or that they would love it more, I think its ok to trade it to them but you should tell them the story behind it, so they know its meaning and can value it even more <3

I don't trade things people give me unless I'm out of kandi and I really want to give someone something, or I find the piece offensive/I just don't like it. I understand there's a significance to each piece of kandi you receive, but I think it's up to you more than anything about whether you want to keep a piece or not.

I don't trade Kandi if it has meaning or the person whom I traded with made an impact on me. For example I have three specifics I can think of: Cinema - a single I got at Global in Colorado and the girl who traded me told me I was very pretty and she loved Benny as much as I did ^^

#2 - Skylab : I attended Skylab in Colorado as well and this very nice boy put me on his shoulders during Martin Garrix and shortly after he set me down we traded

#3 - I went to Safe In Sound and I was wearing almost all my favorite Kandi and this nice boy came up to me and told me I was beautiful and he had a present for me and gave me a cutely patterned Zomboy single

for me it's all about the memory and if they really have true love and plur behind trading / their Kandi

@DayStar: I just wanted to let you know that I really identify with everything you said and though it was very well put. I'm writing a research paper on rave culture and used a lot of what you said as quotes in one section. Just thought I would let you know

i never had a trade yet but if did i would keep the singles that i get from them
