OK so my mom said i can get my hair cut if i have the money and a way to get to the place to get my hair. But the delemma is..... I have no money and i got refused from a job and my mom wont let me use MY money in my saveings, and i told my partner and they offered to help with money but i dont know if i could ask them of that! And i cant wait till summer my dysphoria is getting worse and so is my depression, i know someone is prob thinking "How can a haircut help with depression???" The last time i got my hair cut like a boy my mental state went up! but i dont know what to do

But also, once someone who is very important told me "It's better to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission". I think that quote is something to think about in this scenario, whether you prefer conformity/safety or expression. i'd say try to convince her to cut it yourself if you are ok with doing it urself! I normally prefer doing it myself because a lot of stylists will try to "meet you in the middle" with haircuts. You know/will know what's best for yourself at the end of the day! hope it goes well!!

maybe look up sum tutorials and learn how to do it yourself! I've done my past few haircuts and yea it looks sorta funky at first but hey, ya only live once man
