random childhood memories or toys??

i tend to remember old stuff from my childhood or like, toys that i remember having as a kid and i end up getting SO MUCH nostalgia from it.

like, i used to have these fairy toys called lite sprites when i was younger and the thought of them randomly pops into my head every few months?? but, there's a lot more i remember having. zhu-zhu pets were another along with mlp dolls or just like mlp themed stuff like glitter gel pens i used to have a collection of the old gen 2/gen 3 mlp toys when i was around four or five years old?

anyways, what are some things you remember having as a kid or remember seeing?

i was in love with my littlest pet shop for the longest.. still am tbh i would collect them still if i had the money HAHA but i remember always watching lps skits/series on youtube, i even made my own on my 3ds LOOOL

i had a stuffed animal giraffe that i called “gudron” but everyone thought he was a girl because some women have the name “gudrun” (or something similar)

and it offended me so much because i had decided that my giraffe was a boy?? i was like 4 or 5 at the time, i think

Part 2

My dad bought me these tiny Barbie cat bobblehead cats once and I've had them since I was at least 4. One of them is standing up, has a purple collar and appears to be a Persian cat. The other one is sitting down, has gray fur, and a pink collar. I love them sm and now they just sit on my bookshelf.(I found a listing if u want to see what they look like btw https://www.ebay.com/itm/373947944543 /safe )

I also have this frog piggy bank that my mom painted for me. She said she got it at a fair I think. Sadly tho it is kinda broken bc it was on a dresser that fell over in the middle of the night when I was like 7, but it still works

TW: brief mention of drugs and drug addiction

I had a free in elem named Bree, who was my best friend, but I haven't talked to her in 4-5 years bc of some disagreements and she also got held back, so yea. Not to mention that her parents were (and most likely still are)drug addicts. But, I went to her 7th or 8th birthday party and we were playing with some of her dolls in this Disney dollhouse she had where all the rooms had a difference Disney movie theme. I don't remember how the conversation got to this, but I told her that she should save her toys for her kids when she "grows up" bc she won't want to play with them anymore. Bree then replies with something like "I won't ever not want play with my toys". I remember when I started to grow out of my toys 2-3 years ago this memory came back to me. Kinda makes me sad bc she probably went through this too. I also just kinda feel bad for her about her parents and how she was a bit of a liar bc she probably learned that from her parents. Makes me feel a bit guilty sometimes.

TW: small mention of bullying

I never had too many friends in school. I was always kinda bullied since elem and get teased by my classmates, and the upperclassmen now. So, I was so lonely that I pretended that my stuffed animals, who were mainly cats, were alive. I gave them names like Cleo, Cutie, and Smarties. I made some of them collars, bracelets, and ear accessories out of paper.I even took some cardboard boxes, colored them, and made those into little houses for them. I still have the stuffed animals in the boxes.

TW: small mention of bullying

Going along, somewhat, with the theme of the last one, I again, had little to no friends and was always belittled by others. In 2nd grade, I had a huge crush on this guy named Brandon. He had brown hair and either brown or green eyes. But, what makes him different from the other crushes I've had is that I think he liked me back. We would also buy things for each other. I bought him some Pokemon cards and he bought me a plush of Rainbow Dash (that I still have), who was my favorite character. I think we also might have bought more gifts for each other but I'm not sure. One of the downsides though, was that there was a girl in my class named Ira who knew I liked this guy, I don't know how she found out, but we did go to the same daycare and she helped me "customize" my Rainbow Dash plush (which kinda ruined it). She then told him, but I don't remember him getting mad or anything, so I think he liked me back. But, it was embrassing, since I think she said it in front of THE ENTIRE CLASS. The other downside is that he said he was moving away to Oklahoma in the summer. Sadly, he kept his word and he did move. (For context, I live on the Northeast Coast.) I still wonder if he remembers me and sometimes belittle myself for not directly telling him how I felt. I always wonder what happened to him and what does he look like now. Brandon, in the low chance that you are reading this, I miss you and I wish you didn't have to move, I love you. <3
