IM CURRENTLY HAVING A VERY LARGE INTEREST IN MUSICALS AND I NEED RECOMMENDATIONS PLSSS, SPECIFICALLY ONES SIMILAR TO RIDE THE CYCLONE OR FOREVER PLAID (basically just telling the story of ppl who died in freak accidents)

ANYTHING EXCEPT HAMILTON IS GOOD, I WILL NEVER LISTEN TO HAMILTON I DONT LIKE IT >=(

Forever Plaid

Ride the Cyclone

The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals

Spongebob: The Musical

Little Shop of Horrors

Urinetown (i only watched it bc my school is doing it in the spring but I haven't watched it entirely yet, still gotta finish it lmao)

mkay first of all- HOW DARE YOU HAMILTON IS AMAZING- (im kidding, you do you kid)

i would very highly recommend Be More Chill or Dear Evan Hansen. Im not good at explaining what they're both about, I would suggest doing your own research, but they're both so freaking gooddddddd.

i actually really love the music in hamilton it objectively slaps and my opinions on it are quite conflicted- but everyone knows hamilton so

chicago is great it's a classic, heathers is great if you're into black comedy it's a lot darker than ride the cyclone but if you liked heathers you'll probably like ride the cyclone and i think that recommendation can be applied in reverse also, sunday in the park with george is great artistically and the costume design is just *chef's kiss* (it's about that one pointillist painting everyone knows), and into the woods (the MUSICAL not the movie) of which the witch's performance might be one of my favorites in nearly all the musicals ive seen and also she's played by the same lady who plays Dot in sunday in the park with george which also just goes to show how amazing the makeup for the witch is in into the woods like damn-
