Why do so many people sign with their nickname?

Why so so many people sign with their nickname at the back? Like unless your account is being shared by multiple people i dont get it. Business emails i get too but yall this is a website for bead patterns.

@13Killz: yea i know there are def ppl on here that do fake it- but there r also medically recognized systems on here so i can't say that they all r!!

@Dustchain: itz more common 2 see on the internet bcz you can meet all kindz of pplz on the internet, maybe a lot of systemz know thiz site iz a safe space 4 them so theyre more open abt having did/osdd /nm! D (idk though cuz im a singlet/someone without did/osdd)

@urloverboy: thats fair, i just thought that would be something you wouldnt want to tell people thats all. also i understand the pronouns thing as someone who is genderfluid i can relate to that (again no offense im not trying to be rude or anything im just saying how i feel abt it and if i had the disorder what i would probably do lol, sorry if i offended anybody.)
