what unpopular kandi opinions do yall have?

some of mine include :

- you dont need to use fishing line for masks/panels - clear coord or regular stretchy cloth covered cord works just as well (if you pull hard on the cloth covered cord)

- matte beads > glossy beads

- rainbow colored cloth stretch cord just makes everything better

- ladder stitched cuffs are really underrated for some reason

like i love how they turn out but i cant stand how while making one if you shift one centimeter to the wrong way the entire thing explodes on you and these LITTLE TINY BEADS go everywhere omg

a while back i was making a mega absol perler to go on a necklace (p.s: i actually finished it and its one of my favorite necklaces now) and it took me like 3 hours because the beads kept getting bumped out of place.

hot take apparently : you don't need to listen to edm in order to make kandi - you just need to follow plur !!!

i say this because of 2 reasons:

1. it is literally just beads on string. why are you gatekeeping beads. on. string. it is BEADS. you made kandi when you were a LITTLE KID. it is BEADS and STRING. someone gatekeeping kandi is basically the equivalent of someone gatekeeping water.

2. as someone with adhd (and possibly autism, i'm researching) edm music - all types of it - is just EXTREMELY overstimulating to me. it genuinely hurts my ears to listen to it because it's so static-y and it's just too many sounds all at once (i say as i listen to death metal /hj). i and many other people - probably a fair number of people on this site now - just physically cannot listen to it due to sensory issues.
