i had kandi singles (i didnt know they were kandi) when i was like in 6th grade and emo. i found kandi when i was super sad and bored during quarantine and that was that!

I didn't know what it was until fairly recently (like a year ago?). I wanted to wear a lotta bracelets to cover up my arms because of s/h scars and so I bought a lotta bracelets until I realized I can make my own! It allowed me to express myself while satisfying my urge to craft things. Now I do more with kandi like necklaces and rings, and I even implemented my kandi love into my shoes rainbowsmile

saw it on tiktok early - mid 2020 (my friends pressured me to make an account after quarantine hit), I got really interested cause plus one of my friends has been making perlers for years so for Christmas I asked for pony beads and string, and I’ve been making kandi ever since!

in like really late 2019 or very early 2020 i think i saw a cool pinterest or even an instagram photo of someone wearing like pierce the veil kandi that they had made and i begged my mom to take me to michaels and then i started making kandi obsessively !!! :3

When I was in hospital at one point there was this beading kit there, and I became obsessed with it lol, it was seed beads tho so all the little lizards i made were super tiny

i wanted to create my own bracelet business, so I was looking for pictures to use, and I saw a picture with like girls arms with a bunch of kandi on it and the description was like "kandi rave", and I didn't know what kandi was, so I looked it up and I just thought it was cool so I started making it.

ive made random singles from those Walmart bead kits since I was 7. I actually started to get into kandi after a Kandi kid in my class made me a BTS cuff. I was amazed and then taught myself how to make cuffs and other things the same night. now i'm simply obsessed kao happy
