i just bought a small bracelet kit and then discovered kandi and became obsessed

i used to watch danganronpa cosplay comps, and alot of the cosplayers back then (about middle of 2020) wore alot of kandi, and i thought it was cool. At the same time i started getting into alternative subcultures, and i really like scene/emo music and fashion, and when i saw kandi in some parts of the fashion i really wanted to start making it. now its my own hobby outside of cosplay or fashion. its just fun : D

i saw someone doing a legends of zelda cosplay and they had tons of kandi on!! specifically a rainbow kandi mask that I was SO OBSESSED with, so immediately i did a deep dive into finding out what kandi is and how to make masks, surprisingly a kandi mask was like one of the first things i tried to make! its been like 2yrs atp and im still knee deep into kandi, best choice I ever made

WOOHOO i think it was always common in my emo scene early on and then i used to follow someone for fashion inspo and saw her wearing them, so i went to michaels and bought some! 6 years later n still craftin' )
