This band is more emo/ pop punk but it is still such a good band its called Palaye Royale

it's currently late so i can't think of much off the top of my head but here's some

PUNK: ramones, sex pistols, misfits, the clash, buzzcocks, the casualties, black flag, blondie, bratmobile, le tigre, L7, bikini kill, the runaways, joan jett & the blackhearts, dead kennedys, violent femmes, iggy pop / the stooges, rancid, germs, the replacements, new york dolls, the descendents, suicidal tendencies (crossover thrash - they're punk but also thrash metal ^___^)

POST PUNK / NEW WAVE (some of these are more goth): the cure, the damned, the smiths, joy division, siouxsie & the banshees, duran duran, depeche mode, the b-52s, the danse society, echo & the bunnymen, new order, the psychedelic furs, bauhaus, tears for fears
