i enjoyed the first few books and movies (third will always be the best imo) and after that it got really convoluted with worse and worse writing. the spinoffs dont seem to do much that was exciting and new; nowadays i find the franchise too "safe" to keep my attention

It was the first series I ever truly related to and found myself in. I was really young when I first read the series (like in 4th grade?). I would lose myself in the books, imagining myself as different characters, Hogwarts was my escape world for many years. I have since lost my connection with the franchise but it still holds a place in my heart lol
