need ideas for lab characters pls

so I have this story called Dr. Rue's Lab and it's just abt lab characters getting along together and yeah, there's actual lore to it but it's too long to get into lol (if anyone wants to know more abt it though I'll be happy to explain it ^-^)

anyway it's going to have over 500 experiments (ik it's a lot, I'm kinda trying to expand my art skills w this while also pushing myself to make more unique characters) but I only have 150+ planned out and I rlly don't have anymore ideas for characters, can u guys give me some ideas for experiments I can do? (and if u want u can lmk what u want them to look like)
