I agree with the comments previous to mine. fishing line is only good for things you don't need to stretch (i.e. backpacks, bows, little peyote stitch dude-adds, purses, etc.) i like using stretch magic or fabric covered elastic from jo-ann's beacuse i'm allergic to latex XD

I've given cuffs, 3Ds, singles, necklaces, bows, ladders, and peyotes to friends and complete strangers for nothing because they don't make kandi. I mean my 6 year old sister got into my kandi supplies and made me a 'chaos single' so I don't know why people wouldn't just want to learn since it's simple, but if you want something in return just ask for it. A new or strengthened friendship isn't too much to ask...

hello kitty : pink dress and a bow. fake white kitty ears (they sell hello kitty clip in ears at clare's) and drawn on whiskers. misty (pokemon): yellow belly shirt, red tennis shoes, short shorts, any suspenders, spray in orange hair dye and a side pony tail (maybe even a 3d kandi pokeball) May (pokemon): mini skirt, black leggings, gym shoes, fannypack, red t-shirt, red bandanna rainbow brite: basically a girl in a blue dress, a pony tail, and rainbow legwarmers and stripped rainbow sleeves on her arms (basically a typical kandi raver, tho she was a real cartoon)

For tutorials maybe you could do like peyote patterns (example: Hello Kitty, Hello Kitty mini bow, Pokemon Badges etc...) because some people don't know how to do some peyote patterns as well as others? ^^

In in-school suspention, I was wearing a peyote bow as a ring. I guess I didn't tie it tight enough :-( I wasn't allowed to get up so I lost some beads- hahaha that was 2 years ago

I started making kandi a while ago. I used to make bracelets out of these plastic hollow strings, and I ran out and couldn't find the material. I looked online, and then I stumbled upon kandi bracelets. I looked more into the subject and I started to become obsessed with rave culture, and especially kandi (after I made my first mini kandi bow). And so yeah.

You could always make like small peyote things, like ghosts and stars and bows or a 3D star or something? Personally I love making little peyote bats, they're so cuuute x3 if you need a tutorial for peyotes, just look on the videos link on this website. There's tonnns of tutorials. Happy kandi making!

it sounds like thats a odd place to be but you dont haft to show them how to make cuffs or stuff like that you can show them how to make charms like the stars or the hearts or mini bows,so the beads get used they are mostly only just makeing charms so its not like they are makeing much of kandi just little charms

I would say my biggest kandi kid problem is when the prostitots and bro ravers in my scene try to tell me I'm stupid. "PLUR is dead you dumb a**, why are you still wearing that stuff?!" "you look stupid wearing little kid toys on your arms" "Ugh, I would never wear kandi, I don't think it would match my outfit" "It's too hard to make kandi!" "It's so boring to make kandi" "Go away you stupid kandi kid" People like that test my PLUR! but I want to add in my Kandi Kid Epic Win. I work at an after school program with elementary school kids, and they always ask what my bracelets mean. I taught them what plur means, what my kandi means, and they even asked to learn some basic stuff. They can now all make singles, doubles, mini cuffs (under 8 rows), heart, bow, and pac man ghost peyotes. Whenever one of the kids gets too frustrated, or starts to shut down (we have quite a few special needs kids and kids who have emotion problems) I sit them down with some beads and I tell them to make something and try to calm down. When ever they're done, they're always calmed down and proud of what they've made . I am always proud of them and happy that they're always trying to learn new things.
