I don't know why this bothers me so much....

But it's like people who know how to make kandi gas mask are sworn to some kind of secrecy. I would LOVE to learn how to make one, but I'm the type of person that needs some kind of visual aid, weather it be a video tutorial or a picture one. I have scoured the internet to find something, ANYTHING! remotely helpful and came up empty handed. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way...right?

lol i dont share my way cause im the original creator of gas masks. there wasnt a tut for me, no patterns, no help. just me being creative and making it happen. its been a signature of mine for many years. when my find and a few others posted surgicals, they exploded. now everyone makes em and they arent as cool/special anymore. its like everyone wants to b handed things these days without putting any effort into it to lol. im no "god" though ppl have called me that just cause all the diff things i do. i dont share cause its just a personal thing to me, not cause it makes me better than anyone else most copies i have seen are surgicals with closed cuffs on the sides. id say start there and add ur own flair to it ^.^ p.s. people who go around saying things are "unplur" dont know what their doing lol. plur ppl would repesect others decisions and go about their lives, not throw "unplur" around like its gonna guilt someone lol

I understand and respect people for wanting to keep it a secret, I'm just saying I personally need something to go off of. I get easily frustrated when I've tried to figure out how to make one with out any kind of aid. Idk, maybe I was just not meant to make one just yet XD

listen i agree that i have no right to call them un plurr but i'm over that now i'm just saying that it would be better if we could reach a compromise like half of a tutorial because i think that if they dont want to share they dont have too but i want to here it from them not other people thats always been a big peeve of mine well becky said this well if she said that then she should have said that to me not to you all it does is create fights and syco then and now is different because things have changed for better or worse i dont know and selling it no offence but thats one of the big arguments that people have, one last thought if you need help you should be able to get it receiving help should be a choice not a fact of life

Oh dear lord I know. I know if you want to make a regular mask, cellularmango has a great tutorial, but the ones with the wings on the sides almost are stumping me. I would so kill to learn how to make a full face mask with lights and whatnot, but its seriously like the kandi-eltists are in a cult and wont let anyone else join. BEYOND UNPLUR :c

People keep it secret because it promotes other people to actually use their head to try and figure something out for their own for once. There was a time when there wasnt internet and things like Bikini tops were rare and amazing and people had to teach themselves how to make them and they had to do it off memory or off a picture they have. I 100% agree with people not sharing how to make them, plus some people make the money they need to buy beads by selling gas masks. Dont get butt hurt over it, and by calling it un plur just shows how ignorant people really are.

There are quite a few people who call themselves "Kandi Gods" simply because they can make gas masks/full face masks/etc and so they don't want to lose their "God" status, so they don't tell people how they make them. At least, that's how I see it.

from them if because hearing it from someone else saying well they said people can misinterpret or not catch everything so hearing it from the person themselves is much better then hearing via the telephone game

and purpl3sag3 i am willing to respect there decision i just would like a reason in this day and age you cant get respect for your decision with out reason sure everyone feels like putting words in the makers mouth without hearing from them thats my problem with this we can and cant expect them to share something to an extent i get that but still i am tired of people who dont make these to say hey they dont wanna share because... while i'm not much better saying that they should share i have a valid opinion those who say that they should not share also have a valid point unless they are trying to say it from the point of the maker when they cant make it makes no sense personally i think a compromise should be reached but if you want to learn how to make it on your own you dont have to watch the tutorial or read it just like they dont have to share i am willing to respect them if they respect me with a reason it dosent have to be fancy it could be what your saying but i want to here it

Oh, and to white_rabbit_alice: I would just like to point out that the first r in PLURR stands for Respect. So I feel like we should Respect their decision. It is THEIR creation after all.

I understand where you're coming from. I kind-of agree, however, I completely respect those who choose not to share the invention. I heard that this same thing happened with the original masks? So for people like Halodiablo, I feel like he makes a great deal of profit because there are so little people who know how. And I respect that. It's like companies who patton things. They're just very proud of something they learned how to do on their own. They don't feel like it's fair to share, because they put their own time, money and persistance-why can't others do the same? I would LOVE to make gas-masks as well, but I respect the creators. So I'm going to attempt it on my own, once I get the beads. (I've noticed there are ALOT of pictures to go on, on this site)
