Raves?

How old were you when you went to your first rave? What did you wear? Was it all you expected? Did anything special happen? And as a side question: How do you find out where raves are being held? Im only 14 but I cant wait until I can go to my first rave 8.gif Thanks in advance for your stories!

I went to my first rave about two and a half years ago; I was 15. It was VERY ghetto. It was an attempted venue rave(as opposed to desert raves here). There were two rooms-one was for hip-hop, and the other was for EDM. I had no idea what to wear, so I ended up in my cat ears, a tube top, a tutu, a few singles and some old sneakers. I didn't really know what to expect, because I was used to moshing/shows. It wasn't all that fun because my friend Jenny sat down most of the time, and to make a long story short, there really was no PLUR there. People cliched off, made fun of others, etc. I played in the foam for a while by myself until my other friend's mom picked us up. I'm not sure how she found out about the rave, but I personally find them on Facebook or DontStayIn.com.

I went to my first rave 4 years ago. It was okay but it could have been better, however that was my own fault for being so damn awkward. What made me stay at that time was my friends and then once I started paying attention to what was been played I started to have a lot more fun since I enjoyed the music. I found out where they were held because I had other raver friends. And this is what I looked like at my first rave (I wasn't actually mad I just wasn't sure what to do since Envy asked to take our picture, now I take much better pictures XD )

I went to my first rave maybe six months ago. I was at a friends house and we heard loud music from her neighbors down the street. Then her neighbor knocked on our door and asked if we wanted to come over so we said ok and turns out she was having a HUGE rave on her ranch for her 16th birthday. Since it was last minute I was just wearing skinny jeans and a my PTV T-shirt. It kind of was what I was expecting but it was WAY crazier than I imagined. Ex: A girl passed out right in front of me from drinking. And some guy started fighting nothing from taking drugs. I'm waiting till I'm A LOT older till I go to my next rave o.o
