I use fishing line on the mask itself [but not the straps] to save on my elastic happy Just use elastic for the straps themselves and it'll be fine~

The numbering system on the site really only works for numbering cuffs or flat posters and not items like masks or bikini's so well. Tutorials are available on You tube and can also be found on the video section of this site.

To start with, here is an Om mask pattern: http://kandipatterns.com/kandiDesigner/view?id=46290 You can change the colors of course. This was a pattern that was submitted to the site but not accepted because it was based off another user's design. Now, about the pattern maker, if you ever want to use it: I run the pattern maker on Chrome using a MacBook Pro 17" from 2011 and have no problems. It also runs fine for me on my primary computer/browser - Chrome on the newest model iMac. In general, the type of computer won't affect the pattern maker. It's the browser, browser plugins, and Flash that affect how it works. When the pattern maker starts up, it tries to center the pattern area in the middle of the screen. In your screen cap, ***uming that the pattern is wider than 10, the pattern is too far over to the right. That tells me that the pattern maker probably thinks your screen is bigger than it is. Chrome is different from other browsers in that it also runs its own version of the Flash plugin separate from the one already installed on your computer. This can sometimes cause problems. I personally had to change some Flash settings in Chrome to stop it from hanging up. So, here's what I recommend you try: - A different browser like Firefox or Safari - Upgrading your Flash plugin if you're not already using the latest version - Disabling the extra Flash plugin in Chrome. Here's a link on how to do that: http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/how-to/internet/3332967/prevent-shockwave-flash-crashing-in-google-chrome/ - Clearing your cookies/cache (that's sometimes a magical fix, lol) If you're not sure how to do any of these, you can message me.

I used fishing line for masks. It will work. and If you run out of it, tie more on. I use the same method as tying on more elastic string. And if you do finish it, use elastic for the straps so it will be comfortable

I use fishing line for masks/peyote stitches. I'll try to tighten up the rows more and see if that works. Thanks!(:

The only patterns that are un-numbered are those that aren't cuffs, and that's because the numbers don't apply to those patterns. To see the numbers on a cuff pattern, click the pattern image and it will pop up with numbers on it. Masks can't be numbered, nor can bikinis or charms. This is because the numbers have to be added automatically, and those would be too complicated or impossible to automate, plus not everyone follows those patterns in the same way. If you want to add numbers to a flat panel, that can be done. Message me and I'll tell you how because the easiest way involves using a feature that isn't yet live.

Well it depends on you. What types of things do you like? I say take your favorite thing in the universe and make a mask out of it!

I say find something that you really like whether it be a cartoon character, city, whatever and pending on your style, make a bag panel or mask or cuff. Whichever is your style or easiest for you.

You can just stick masking tape to the back of them. That's what I do. ^-^

There are no numbers on masks because they can't be numbered automatically since they are all different shapes and sizes. The users or moderators would have to manually number the patterns, and that's too much to ask of people/would take too long to do. The numbers are only for cuff patterns. You won't see them on panel, charm, or perler patterns either, but there is a way that you can add them to panels.

My red and black biohazard mask because I revolved my whole Halloween costume around it, and it was the first kandi piece I made and I even made my OC wear it as part of her everyday outfit. I love it x3
