I wasn't bothered by the bracelets, but it's cool that they responded. Social media can be a powerful thing. I wonder if by doing this they're admitting that it was supposed to be kandi, or if they just felt like they had to do something to stop the angry messages. I think the kit is silly though. There aren't enough letter beads to write anything you want. If they really want to prove that they understand kandi, they should sell actual bead boxes and string.

at least it's not the bracelets. a good deal of stores sell bracelet kits so i guess it's no different than any place else.

I like the beads. It's a good idea. I would probably buy them if they weren't 7 dollars.

I am super surprised that they did something xD I agree with Crumpet though too. The kits look SUPER tiny! You can't write anything you really want~

I've seen recent photos of the bracelets still being sold in stores, so either Hot Topic corporate was lying, or that message just hasn't gotten out to all the stores yet. I've seen recent photos of them selling cuffs too :/
