saw this on my facebook.. not sure what to say about it... how do you guys feel?

A lot of stores sell pre made kits for kids or people just getting in to kandi, so I don't mind that they did that. At least they changed something, right? But I'm sure most stores are probably not as expensive as Hot Topic. They're using their brand to jack up the price - which is admittedly not uncommon, but I've never liked companies doing that. The limited amount of beads really stumps the creativity, though, and there really aren't that many letters in there. Though at the same time the picture looks more like a sample pack, so maybe the actual packs will be bigger?

frustrated. I feel like its defacing the rave scene. don't get me wrong i love hot topic but this is rediculous. they need to realize that kandi is NOT made from KITS but from one raver's HEART to another.

I've seen recent photos of the bracelets still being sold in stores, so either Hot Topic corporate was lying, or that message just hasn't gotten out to all the stores yet. I've seen recent photos of them selling cuffs too :/

Honestly my Hot Topic has never had the bracelets or kits.

I am super surprised that they did something xD I agree with Crumpet though too. The kits look SUPER tiny! You can't write anything you really want~

I agree with Crumpet. The kit is TINY! And There aren't enough letters to write what you want. I personally love to put my friends names, my favorite band names, and quotes from songs I like. There are probably only like...30 beads including 7 vowels and 13 Q's -__-

I like the beads. It's a good idea. I would probably buy them if they weren't 7 dollars.

at least it's not the bracelets. a good deal of stores sell bracelet kits so i guess it's no different than any place else.
